what can i use alternatively ?
ResourceLoader.load() doesn't work on windows

Do not use

var texture = ImageTexture.new()
texture.load("res://file.png")

use var texture = load("res://file.png")
it's the same as ResourceLoader.load("res://file.png") which works on any platform.
ResourceInteractiveLoader is an alternative for background loading, but essentially the same implementaion.
