iOS frozen splash screen

Hi,

I created a very simple initial game in Godot v3.2.3.stable.official

I exported it using the official Godot export template. Then, I used Xcode 12.0.1 to finish it up and run it on a Mac running Catalina 10.15.7. Regardless of the iPhone and iPad simulator I selected, the app froze on my custom splash screen.

The strange thing is that when I connected an iPhone 7, running iOS 14, the app ran and did not get stuck on the splash screen.

Any thoughts/ideas would be greatly appreciated.
