Hi!
I created a test game to save data and I do not know where save the file.
This is my code(I use Linux):

func _ready():
get_tree().set_auto_accept_quit(false)
var fp : File = File.new()
fp.open("user://save_game.dat", File.WRITE)
fp.store_string("Hello World")
fp.close()

You can use Project > Open Project Data Folder in the editor to open the project-specific data folder.

According to official docs here:

Windows: %APPDATA%\Godot\
macOS: ~/Library/Application Support/Godot/
Linux: ~/.local/share/godot/

In my project on ubuntu, for example, is

/home/azagaya/.local/share/godot/app_userdata/Ineth/

Look that directory (with your username of course)
