I want to create a video game with Godot but I don’t have to play a videogame.
Do I need a videocard/grahic card for this?

It’s not essential but it is advised. Without any form of GPU enjoy the abyss the editor’s performance would be diabolical and almost unusable. An integrated GPU will suffice as Godot is pretty stable when compared to an engine like Unreal which would crash repetitively.

You can’t see anything without a GPU anyway

I’ve always thought it fell back on the CPU, just had another look and they were clearly talking about dedicated GPUs
