I wonder if there is a way to get particular region of a 3D Mesh object, as another Mesh object. Can't find a direct method as far as I can see, but may be there are indirect ways to achieve this. Thanks.

I would also like to do this for terrains imported from Blender, as they are huge bunches of triangles that never get culled properly, so if I could auto-slice them in a tool it would be a great performance improvement.
