There is a problem with animation. At 100 animations greatly decreases FPS. Is there an opportunity to speed it up?
I conducted an experiment. I took 10 animated characters. Remove from them all scripts. Place them randomly on the screen in the amount of 100 pieces. And I get low fps (30 mabilnom on the device). On Computers, he is not much different.
On a personal computer where it was originally FPS 600. When the unit is lowered to 40. And each new unit is stronger than the previous decrease FPS.
Playing an animation set to a fixed process and easy to process. The latter option gives the best result.
Godot 1.1 gave the same result at 200 animations

It could’ve been due to an issue with Godot’s 3D animation system (in which a fix was applied right after the Godot 2.0.1 release). The issue in question caused the code to waste performance cycles so any recent build should see the performance restored.
