So I have a game with a Options Menu and I want to make a toggleable button, works just fine, btu when you toggle the button and change scenes the button will reset to not pressed ;p

One way would be to store the state of the button somewhere that won't be lost during a scene change. The most obvious choice is an AutoLoad script. So, something like:

  • Create an AutoLoadcontaining a variable representing the button's state
  • Each time the button's state changes, update the variable in the AutoLoad with the new state
  • After changing scenes, retrieve the latest state from the AutoLoad and set it on button
