Weird Ghost Image when loading scenes

Whenever I load a scene I get a ghost like image of the pervious scene and the current loaded scene is overplayed onto of it. IS this a case of the last rendered image not being cleared? it seems if I maximize/minimize the window the image goes away. Any idea what causes this?

"if I maximize/minimize the window the image goes away" that sounds like a problem with your graphics card - try your game on another computer maybe. Do the ghost images go away if you wait, or you you have to minimize/maximize? Can you provide some details on how you are loading scenes? Does this happen with all scenes or just some scenes?
