Godot 4 has gotten bone animation abilities, but I can’t tell if it is only capable of altering existing animations created through other software (Blender), or whether it can create new animations on its own.

If there is an existing armature in the model, can a new animation be created from the armature’s rest pose?

If the model doesn’t have an existing armature, can one be created to be used as the basis for new animations?
