are they any diferent?

Yes they have a difference.

sign > : strictly superior
sign >= : superior or equal

var value = 2
if(value > 2):
    print("value strictly superior to 2")

if(value >= 2):
    print("value superior or equal to 2")

Only the second print is exectued
