I would like to make a menu transition that only covers a part of the screen (such as a panel container). I have seen a couple videos on doing full screens sliding left / right and I would like to do something similar, but those don't work for my case because they rely on the next part of the menu being off screen.

An example of my use case is in this video where clicking "Lesson Two" transitions to another screen on the "phone". I was hoping there was a way to have a control that blocks visibility outside a certain area but I couldn't figure out a way to do that.
