The Godot 3D Cursor Plugin is an editor-only plugin for Godot 4.2+ that introduces a configurable 3D Cursor to the editor, inspired by the 3D cursor functionality found in Blender.
It provides an intuitive way to place and position nodes within a 3D scene by allowing new Node3D-based nodes to be created directly at the cursor’s location. This enables more precise object placement and a smoother workflow when working on 3D levels and scenes.
The plugin supports multiple independent 3D Cursor instances per scene, offers quick access to common cursor actions through a Pie Menu (Shift + S), the Command Palette (Shift + Ctrl + P), and a dedicated Settings Dock, and allows extensive customization of cursor appearance and behavior.
All functionality is editor-exclusive and has no impact on runtime performance.
