Soothe and heal your skin with masks made of cucumber and rosewater or of garlic. You can make a cucumber and rosewater mask pulverizing cucumber in the blender with just a few drops of rosewater. A garlic mask can be made by pulverizing eight garlic cloves in the blender with a few drops of aloe vera gel or juice. For either one, apply the mask to clean skin for twenty minutes. Rinse thoroughly with warm water, then cold water. Use white vinegar as a toner to balance the pH of your skin.
You may be able to avoid using make-up altogether if you simply take good care of your skin. Never go to sleep wearing make-up. Keep your skin clean, using soap and water or a good natural cleanser. Use natural facial masks at least once a week for both the direct value to your skin and the indirect value provided by the pampering and relaxation.
When choosing makeup products for sensitive skin, always be sure to get products that are labeled non-comedogenic and hypoallergenic. Be careful not to buy mineral based products because they are very likely to cause allergy problems. Take extra care to remove your makeup thoroughly and gently before bed every night.
