Can the code editor go "full screen" and if so, is there a shortcut to switch between?

I sometimes have to work on my laptop and when I do approximately 60% of the screen is taken up by interface like Inspector, Scene tree, etc etc.

I’d like to be able to just code in a full window text view. Is the current inbuilt editor capable of this?

Thanks, Rob

For just code (no scene/inspector/file,etc tabs), no, you can use an external editor like Atom for pure coding purposes, it has some gdscript plugins.

You can use Distraction-Free mode to get a fullscreen main view, which is available through Ctrl+Shift+F11.

Thank you, that did it!

I’m on OS X though so it’s Command Shift F11.

It works and I can finally code on the laptop now. Much appreciated.
