Can you copy child nodes from one scene to another?

Hello!

In short:

I want to copy all the selected children here …

… and paste them as children to this scene

Open the scene where you want to add the new nodes (so, the scene in the 2nd screen shot above).

  • Select the node in your scene tree to serve as the parent of the newly added nodes
  • Right-click and choose Merge From Scene
  • In the dialog that opens, choose the scene that contains the nodes you want to insert
  • Choose the nodes you want to insert from the selected scene
  • Press Ok
  • Done
