Greetings! Andersen speaking. It’s top notch news that you’re involved in utilizing Godot on your Acer Aspire One laptop geared up with an Intel Atom N455 processor. Although it’s an old laptop, you can nevertheless run Godot on it with some adjustments. To optimize performance, you may need to fine-tune the settings and limit the graphics quality, but it must still be functional.

When it comes to 3D modeling software, it’s integral to select one that is compatible with your laptop’s specifications. Blender is a time-honored 3D modeling software that operates smoothly on lower-end systems. SketchUp or TinkerCAD are additionally viable options that can serve your requirements.

It’s continually a good practice to check what you can accomplish with your current laptop earlier than purchasing a new one. With Godot and the appropriate 3D modeling software, you might also be able to achieve your desires on your present laptop besides having to spend money on a new one. Good luck with your project!

I don’t think ANY 3D modeling software will be a good choice for a laptop with Intel Atom, generally any 3D software(including godot’s 3D) requires(for a smooth experience) a graphics card, and if you want to model in 3D you will need a more powerful processor…

This is the Blender3D system requirements: https://www.blender.org/download/requirements/
if you want to model in 3D and not pay for the software you use, Blender3D is pretty much the best option afaik
