So, I decided that Godot seems like a cool engine and I wanna start using it, but whenever I try to turn on a project in the editor, my monitor goes black and shows “No Signal” and I can’t even turn Godot off with ALT+F4, pc does not respond to anything and I need to restart the PC.
What do I do cuz I legit wanna use this engine
here is my PC specs:
Intel(R) Core™ i7 CPU 870 @
8 GB RAM
64-bit
NVIDIA GeForce 210

Sounds like a bug. You should report an issue: Issues · godotengine/godot · GitHub

I can’t be sure if its related, but there is a similar issue here: Godot causes my OS to freeze/restart · Issue #37471 · godotengine/godot · GitHub

Have you installed latest drivers possible to your graphics card?

Have you tried the old godot 2 version?

Try both GLES3 and GLES2 if some work better.

i tried switching to gles 2 and it works now

If you want try GLES3 here is a guide that maybe fix it: GPU drivers crash with long computations (TDR crash) | Substance 3D Painter
