How do I update my imported mesh's material?

I have modeled and textured (by uv map) the character for my game in Blender. Because better collada has not been working with new versions of Blender, I exported a glb to Godot to still have my animations.
I have since updated the texture of my material, and re-uploaded the glb, but the engine insists on keeping the old material.
My research shows that this problem has been reported, but I have not yet found a workaround. If anyone has found one and knows how to get my new material onto my mesh in godot, that would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!
Maxwell

Update: after a few updates of the mesh, deleting the texture and reuploading multiple times, and restarting Godot repeatedly, my mesh now shows one of the updated meshes I tried… Idk man.

Now it’s just straight up working. Good I suppose. No worries

Hey guys! It just started working. Nothing done differently, so I’m not exactly sure the problem nor the solution. I’m just adding this answer so I can mark this off as resolved.
