Could you explain what are your trying to achieve? Maybe we can help you find alternatives to your current method.

To give you an answer based on the question, you can actually change the position with the "translation" value of the vehicleBody as any other node. However, you should be aware that if you change the position of a physics body (rigid, static, kinematic) without the built-in functions, some issues may arise inside Godot's simulation system, and severely hit the performance since static objects should remain, well... static.
