Someone told me to use environment tone mapping instead of the idea to use a colorRect to edit the brightness of the game. it is a 2d platformer game. Does anyone know what it is?

If you want to lower brightness and it is a 2d platformer, then goto your world environment and enable adjustment. There you can see that there is settings for brightness
