After baking shadows with bakedlightmap, game takes very long time to load (about minute compared to 1-3 seconds before) and I don't have any shadows in game (but I see them in editor) and my fps went down from 1000 to 20.
Monitoring still says 50k polys and 68 drawcalls.

BakedLightmap in 3.2 has many known issues which should be fixed once the new CPU lightmapper is merged.

Godot 4.0 will get a more advanced lightmapper as well.
