When I click on the engine to start it up in the command prompt is says:

Godot Engine v3.2.1.stable.official - https://godotengine.org

in Engine by (12 points)

This could be related to some (fixed) bugs: #28394 and #36662. Are you using the version with Mono? Are you running the game from a restricted folder, e.g "C:\Program Files\"?

This maybe relates to some incompatibility with a game controller.
Try to unplug the controller before starting up Godot.
Also check if the game controller comes with specific drivers and if an update is available for those.

There were issues about this error but they are closed.
You should exactly write about the make & model of the controller. Driver versions involved. Natuarlly also about the OS version you use (probably windows 10?).
