Change the icon of the project

I want to change the icon on the desctop.
This are the steps I do:

  1. I installed recid and activatet it in the Editor Settings
  2. I draw a picture in Aseprite on a 256x256 canvas and saved it as an .ico
  3. I selected this picture when I exported the project

But it is stil the default picture

What is my mistacke?

Can you upload the .ico file somewhere so we can take a look?

Thank you for the answer, but I now know my mistacke: Somerwhere in the canvas were some pixels missing.
