I’m wanting to do floating damage numbers after hitting something, so I need it to be dynamic. If it’s impossible to add a gradient is there any other way of doing floating text with custom characters/images?
You can colour text… what kind of gradient are you referring to with your text?

Something like this. I’ve since learnt you can use a shader to get that effect, but i’d be open to any other methods.
