actually i am unable to resize the KineticBody2D through dragging (its too small to select initially) please help me i have just started using it.

Bodies do not have a "size", you need to add a shape to it and resize the shape with the size handlers.

You can see an example at the end of the "Sprite animation" section of the tutorial on the official documentation:
