Freezing up issues with Godot

I feel as though there is a problem with Godot I never used to suffer from this issue but with recent versions, even below Godot 3.1 it constantly freezes up after click on on something or dragging an item for a few seconds sometimes it freezes up sometimes it doesn’t. This seems to happen on both WIndows 7 and Linux (Zorin OS 12.4).

My PC has nVidia GTX 260 with quad core 2.4 GHz and 8 GB of RAM.

Does this occur when running other 3D applications (for short or long periods of time)? Also, can you reproduce this with a daily build of the master branch?

No. I use Blender quite often and I don’t have any of these freeze ups. I used to use Unity 3D as well and even that doesn’t have these sorts of freeze ups.

Also, can you reproduce this with a daily build of the master branch?

I could but again with GOdot this wasn’t an issue int he past for some reason this happens with a few recent versions.

Have you checked system monitor/task manager? That may point out if the issue is with the CPU. Also, is it freezing when set to GLES2 and GLES3?
