Rejected by Apple for using non-existent analytics?

We just got rejected for our kids app. Apple says we’re using analytics or collecting data. We’re definitely not and we’re not using any 3rd party libraries.

I noticed a few frameworks in the iOS export that we don’t need such as GameKit and StoreKit. Apple highly scrutinizes kids’ apps and I believe the mere presence of these frameworks is the issue. It could be something entirely different though. Here’s Apple’s response:

Guideline 5.1.2 - Legal - Privacy - Data Use and Sharing

We noticed that your app uses analytics software to collect and send
device data to third parties.

Next Steps

Please note that you may only collect device data to provide a service
or function that is directly relevant to the use of your app. You may
not use analytics software to collect and send device data to third
parties.

Guideline 5.1.4 - Legal - Privacy - Kids

We noticed that your app collects, transmits, or has the ability to
share personal information from a minor but is not in compliance with
the applicable children’s privacy statutes.

Unfortunately we can’t just change the category since our app is targeted to 5-6 year olds and by reclassifying it, we lose the ability to sell to that market.

Anyone have a similar experience or know a work around?

Thanks!!!
