I'm trying to exclude the player from been detected by a raycast, but I don't know how to tell the ray cast not to take into account the player. I'm trying the following codes, but they are not working. I think the problem is in how should I introduce the player as an argument for add_exception?

var node_raycast = null
func _ready():
        node_raycast = $Ray_Cast
        node_raycast.add_exception("../../Player")

I also tried

var node_raycast = null
onready var player = get_node("../../Player")
func _ready():
        node_raycast = $Ray_Cast
        node_raycast.add_exception(player)
