Is their a way of making the boot splash last longer

Hey,

I have successfully changed the boot splash, but is their a way of making it last longer, because at the moment it just appears for a split second and then loads the main screen.

Any help appreciated and thanks in advance.

I suggest displaying a dedicated scene which will act as a splash screen as soon as the project starts; this way, you can use all features of Godot such as animations and sounds. The first frame of the splash scene should look identical to the splash screen as to ensure a smooth transition.

yeah but then the godot splash screen is still going to appear :/

As I said, you should still change the boot splash image; just make sure the first frame of the splash scene matches the splash image to prevent a sudden change.
