what a good background resolution for pixel game? i want to make animation background for menu, but i dont know what resolution i should use. all tile in game 32x32. thank you for your respond.

I imagine you would select resolution by deciding on a standard for example the NES at 256x240 resolution, snes at 256×224 or any other of the named standards like CGA, VGA, HD etc.

It is also worth mentioning that historical "pixel art" is based on stretched pixels on blurred CRT screens, contrary to our modern perfectly square and sharp pixels, more...
