What to do when your question is lost in the piles of unanswered ones.

When you ask a question, but it stays unanswered long enough, it gets pushed down off of the immediate list of unanswered questions. So should I:

  1. Ask the same question,
  2. Somehow get it to reappear on the immediate list,
  3. Or just leave it be.

I would post the question and hope the community answers it. Trying to get it to reappear on the front page (a.k.a. “bumping” it) is unfair to other users posting their questions. Also, asking the same question won’t help, as you’re duplicating your question, and that probably won’t help anyone, let alone help you in getting your question answered.

If your question doesn’t get answered here, may I suggest the Discord channel, the official forums, or even on Stack Overflow. Asking your question in different development communities increases the chances of getting the question answered.

Thanks for the tip.

Apart from that, unanswered questions are listed here Recent questions without answers - Godot Engine - Q&A
People can go there if they are in the mood of answering, there seems to be like 2-3 unanswered per day, really low compared to other sites.

Your best option is to try to make a good question and avoid it to get lost, a short and clear title and a detailed content may improve your chances of an answer.
