Does lighting from normal light nodes generate indirect light?

Yes, any light nodes (OmniLight, DirectionalLight, SpotLight) as well as emissive materials will emit indirect lighting that can be baked into a GIProbe or BakedLightmap.

You can also tweak the amount of indirect light emitted from any light node by changing its Indirect Energy property.
