Hi all,

I am using Ubuntu 16 and for some reason, once after i had to manually force reboot my maching Godot IDE (2.x and 3.x) lost their settings, list of project…

Although not a critical issue, but anyone faced a similar issue ?
Is there a folder we can backup to prevent this from happening in the future ?

Thx.

Been using this tip to have the editor info separate from OS folders under Ubuntu
and it has been working like a charm (.sc + editor_data subfolder).

until today when I had to run : killall nautilus and the files reset

:frowning:

Need to backup editor-settings-3.tres when u have many projects…

On Linux, editor settings can be found in:
$HOME/.config/godot/editor-settings-3.tres

Thx, is it better to backup the whole folder u think or just this file ?
