Is it possible to use GDNative Rust at this time or is it still being developed, if it is still being developed, which version of Godot is it going to be released in then?

AFAIK, there won’t be official support for rust, but only for gdscript, c# and c++.

I thought GDNative Rust was being worked on last time I heard?

I think they are, just not officially maintained by Godot devs.

At the moment, Rust isn’t an “officially supported” language, but a “community supported” language.

Someone is working on it here: GitHub - godot-rust/gdnative: Rust bindings for Godot 3
You can get it now if you want. It looks like you will need to compile it.
I don’t know if it can be considered “finished”, but getting involved and sending feedback is a good way for it to progress.

It only works in Godot 3, because it has to use GDNative, which is not available in Godot 2.
