It’s gonna be easy, because it’s the same question than my last one,

but because of my delay I couldn’t get the answer.

The thing is that I don’t understand the answer, who look like easy so I assume that It’s my fault ^^

He has node who look empty, with no script or “object” attached.

That’s more or less the point that I don’t get.

So If any one can help me …

I believe the link’s primary intention was to show you how to edit node paths in the editor for exported variables. You should replace that node with an actual Area2D node (and collision shape) in the scene tree and then place the checkpoint_area code into a script for that node.

Your earlier question about the checkpoint node - You want that node to be a child of the world to be easiest.

Does this make sense now?
