I’ve been itching to learn more programming after completing a class in Python, and have been wanting to make my own games Godot’s GDScript has a similar feel to python, which I find easy to understand.
That being said, I’m wondering if Godot would be a good engine to create a game similar to Shellcore Command and BYTEPATH. I want to combine the ship-building elements of Shellcore with the passive system of BYTEPATH.
I’m not really sure what makes a game engine good for certain games, but from the documentation I’ve been reading, Godot’s node system seems intuitive.
Yes, Godot can definitely be used to create a game similar to those.
