Greets!

A lil sense of forebodin as my game’s already the size of almost 3Go, and I’m just in the beginin of creatin its world… Havin but some png images and wav sounds…
I saw that they’re all duplicated with import files, and wonder if there’s a way to lighten a bit the all of that. Is Godot forced to use files in double?

Thats the way Godot is design. Resources must be imported to Godot before they can be used and there is not easy way around it - that means that .import will be proportional to size of resources you are using in game.
Although if you need to copy your project somewhere it is safe to not include .import folder because it will be automatically regenerated by Godot.

Thxs, but that means that once a project is done and runin, it will be released with a double content? Isn’t it some kind of flaw?

Exported project will contain only imported resources not they original files, so there should not be any duplication.
