Do I need a manifest file?

I have been successful with my app until today. When trying to install the release APK, I keep getting a “There was a problem parsing the package.”

I am sure I am using all the correct info for the release keystore. I unzipped the APK created and there is no manifest file. Is that normal?

I guess you should file a bug on github with the logfile
