Textures not coming out properly

Hey, I’m having a problem with one of the objects in my game. The texture/material just isn’t showing properly in game at all…
the arms are supposed to be green and on top of everything, but it’s turning out completely black and is clipping into stuff…


What am I doing wrong? I have tested this on Godot 2.1 and 2.2, and the problem exists in both…

Nevermind, I fixed the problem, I applied the texture to the “Material Override” parameter instead, and that did the trick!
