If a user posted something that goes against people’s culture, religion etc, or if the asset did illegal things (such as connect users to blackmarkets just as an example of what sort of illegal things I am talking about), would it be removed from the Godot Store?

And if it was removed why bother removing it when this ruins the concept of “free as in freedom” when the game engine itself is “free as in freedom”?

Off course I have no intension of posting anything like that in the first place but I am curious to know.

You will always be against people’s culture, in particular doing free stuff in a capitalist world :stuck_out_tongue:

But things there are manually curated, maybe some art assets can bypass that until somebody report.
And I guess with GDNative precompiled things this will need some extra precautions from curators part.

So, basically yes, if there is content that does something weird it may not even reach the testing phase.

ps: posting this as a comment because I’m not a curator nor I know the exact procedure.

But doesn’t this ruin the concept of free as in freedom? If the game engine is free as in freedom should’t the entire service be free as in freedom?

Do the admins reply to people’s posts by the way?

No and no. Assetlib administrators and curators are free (as in freedom) to apply rules.

Admins answer sometimes but better send a email to contact at godotengine · org if you need something specific from them.
