I think Mastodon which is a Twitter alternative that is decentralized and FOSS software, is full of FOSS fans. Godot could gain quite a following there.

Why not at least mirror the tweets from Twitter on Mastodon?

There are all types of Bots on Mastodon. The problem with bots is they only share whatever is posted on Twitter. There is no feedback when responding to posts on Mastodon if its a Bot.

Would be good of the Godot team to post on Mastodon and interact with those users.
