Energy Meter using TextureProgress?

I’ve seen an example on how to make a radial countdown using this node. But what would be the best way to make a Mega Man style energy meter using a solid black 8 x 56 image for the background and 8 x 2 images for the individual energy lines? I didn’t quite understand the example.
