I want to start work in the 3d models for my project but I’m unsure of what’s the best option when it comes to 3d modeling software. I know a fair amount of Blender tho. Should I go with that?

Blender is great for indie devs as it is very affordable. Has a sharp learning curve though, you will have to know a lot of keyboard shortcuts to work fast but I think it’s worth it. I use it and I love it. I have never tried other softwares so I am definitely biased but I think blender is the best choice for indie devs.

I agree, Blender is really good.
There is a sharp learning curve, but it’s definitely worth it once you’ve figured everything out. And the best thing is it’s a tool for pretty much everything to do with making assets for video games, so you never really need to use anything else, unless you just prefer the workflow of another platform.
And there’s heaps of tutorials for it, too, which is always good to have.

It depends what you want to do, but as someone with no skills and patience in that area, I always use Magicavoxel.

Hi, I always use Magicavoxel.Good luck & Have a nice weekend.

I’m overjoyed to hear that you’re fascinated in crafting 3D models for your Godot project. Selecting the proper 3D modeling software can be a daunting task, however it’s encouraging to be aware of that you’re already acquainted with Blender. With its considerable usage in the gaming enterprise and seamless compatibility with Godot, Blender is an excellent preference for your project.

That said, it’s constantly wise to discover alternative 3D modeling software program options and select the one that best suits your needs. Some other popular alternatives encompass Maya, 3ds Max, and Cinema 4D. Each of these software boasts its very own unique blessings and drawbacks, so it’s fundamental to consider variables such as ease of use, functionality, and fee before making a remaining decision.

Ultimately, the most suitable 3D modeling software program for you will hinge on your individual preferences and requirements. It’s endorsed to experiment with more than a few software to find out which one enables you to actualize your innovative vision in the most environment friendly and effective manner possible.
