I’m following GDQuest’s “Make Your First 2D Game with Godot” course and he mentioned a shortcut for the script editor that seemed very useful. He said that you can press CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER to insert a line of text above the one that you’re currently working on. However, when I tried this… nothing happened. I am aware that the tutorial is a bit old so I googled it, but found nothing. Is this still a feature?
The shortcut works here on 3.5 on Linux. Which operating system and keyboard layout are you using?

Hmmm… weird. I’m on Windows 10 and I’m just using the regular “QWERTY” layout.

It works here too (3.5 on Windows 10).

I’m using Linux, and Ctrl-Shift+Enter does exactly the same thing as Enter on its own.

That’s really weird because every other shortcut works… maybe I’ll just have to live without it ♂️

I guess emojis don’t work on here lol. Tried to use shrugging emoji and it put the male symbol

You could just press Up, Enter then Down. Still 3 keys.

Not necessarily. It might just go to the middle of the line above and cut it in half
