How to implement 2D, top down truck and trailer physics?

My goal is to make a 2D, arcade style game where the player can practice backing a truck and trailer from a top down perspective. I’m not really sure where to start. Should the truck itself be a kinematic body or should both the the truck and trailer be rigid bodies? Any help is definitely appreciated!
