Context based steering

Really great article. I learnt a lot. Highly recommend

But I am new to this topic. I have two problems. First is how do I change the formula such that the object doesn’t rotate. Because my game has a human character and I don’t want it to rotate.

Second problem is how do I give it a co-ordinate to move towards while steering around obstacles.

This topic is a very new concept to me and I am just having a little trouble following the math.
Any help or advice about my two issues will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
