how can i generate a tilemap from an array like this?

Until now i have each sokoban jevel as it´s own scene.
but now i think about using only one level-scene and generate the tilemap with code.
So i thaught about an array like this:

sample for a level 1
the outer array holds the whoole map and inside it each row is an array.
0 is empty, 1 is wall
so eversting is in the code in the order, it should appear on the map.
but how can use it to generate, wich tiles in a tile map have to be filled?

I did it on the go, I hope I didn’t mess it up ;). I will fix if something goes wrong :slight_smile:

I would make one sugesstion.
Make sure you set up the tileset first and that you have linked the array names to the tileset names so that the timemap has something to place.

This is an issue I ran into before.

i got it to display one of my maps.
but how do i activate the bitmask fittings of autotile?

never mind
I just needed to call update_bitmask_area() after placing a cell.
Now everithing works like i want.
