As far as I can see Godot has no way to simulate cloth. So for example if I have a character with a cape, I'd have to animate the cape's movement rather doing it in real time in the engine. That's possible, but it always looks animated and not very realistic compared to a proper simulation.

A module or plugin would be great too.

You could create nice cloth animation (with wind simulation) with Creature animation tool.

you can use the vertex shader to do nice cloth animations that look realistic without expensive cloth simulations. if the guys in uncharted 4 do it, I think its quite a reasonable solution :)
