is there any way of proper combining multiple shaders ?

I hope for a way to use one shader on top of the other, without negating it. For example a model with 5 colourful fragment shaders overriden by a shader shaping vertices to simulate burning. As I am using geometry material override or shaders next pass I only get results of 2 vertex shaders working separately, seen as 2 meshes at the same time.
