How do I select a node that is behind another node?

I know it’s possible to do so through the editor’s node list, but I was wondering if there is a way to select a node through the scene viewer with the mouse, since I have a lot of nodes.

Alt + right click.

You can also use this selection mode by selecting the 5th icon in the toolbar:
